I have recently been developing bad allergies and would like to find a caring , loving home for both my boys. They need to be kept together!! I also have tons of toys for them, large cat perch, bed, litter boxes, dishes, food etc...a lot of extras!! Seeking a good home that will give them the attention they deserve, keep them together as mentioned and of course will take ALL their current belongings with them. I won't just give them away. I want a 'very fair' donation fee, one because I have thousands invested in them and 2nd to assure I know they will go to someone who will actually care for them and can afford to give them proper ... However I am a timid guy who doesn't stand up for myself to other animals. I do need to be in a loving home where I'm the only pet. I'm a 4 year old neutered and front declawed pedigreed Maine Coon.

Domestic Cat    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

If you would like a lap cat, then Franklin is the one! He lies in my lap every single day, multiple times a day. He's 9 years old and healthy. I am moving out of Wisconsin and may not have a permanent residence for a while, so I need to find him a new home here. Franklin loves people once he gets to know them. He purrs when petted, and you can pick him up and hold him. Sometimes he'll sleep next to my legs. He'll talk to you: he has a lot of different, funny noises. He enjoys interacting with and also watching people. He is shy at first, kind of a scaredy cat, easily startled, and his first instinct is to run and hide, but his natural ... (Read More)curiosity eventually takes over. He's active and energetic, he likes to play. Franklin's favorite game is 'whap the fishy', where he sits in his Ikea cat tent and uses his paws to whap a stuffed fish toy that I hold next to the tent. He will chase balls that you throw, bat balls back at you, or bat balls around the floor himself. He'll attack toys hanging from a stick. He also loves to look out windows, especially if there are birds outside, so a bird feeder would be excellent for him. And he has a thing for sunbeams, often moving his position during the day to be under the sunbeam. He loves to eat canned cat food. He eats crunchy dry food too, but canned is his favorite. He also likes cat treats, such as Feline Greenies. And he's crazy for licking catnip pillows. I've had Franklin since he was a kitten. He's an indoor only cat. He has all of his claws, and I don't want him to be declawed. I just trim his front claws every 3-4 weeks or so. He doesn't scratch up the furniture. He never pees outside the litter boxes. He doesn't have a problem with hairballs, and indeed he rarely vomits at all. He does have a tendency to eat inappropriate things, so you have to be a little careful about that. I will provide Franklin's medical records to you and your vet if you adopt him. He just had a vet checkup with blood testing and rabies vaccine update, and everything is fine. He has always had healthy teeth too. He has a microchip implant for identification. (Less)

Domestic Cat    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs Vaccinations

Sadie was dropped off at my parents farm 9 years ago. She was about a year old, declawed and scared. We were going to take her to the local shelter but at the time a home was raided with several hundred cats. We knew she would get lost in the system. She has been with me ever since. I recently seperated from my boyfriend and need to find a her a temporary home until I can find an apartment. I am staying with family but they are allergic to cats. Sadie is a very lovable (on her terms) & talkative cat. She loves to play. I will supply all needed items (food, dishes, litter box, etc) during her care.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Cat in Wisconsin
Cats can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. Domestic Cats have been intriguing companions for humans since ancient times. Worldwide, cats are even more popular than dogs as pets. Sadly, huge numbers of cats are in need of adoption and care. A cat owner who no longer wants the cat, or is no longer able to care for a cat, may drop the cat off at a shelter or simply abandon it. Overcrowding in shelters, along with too few adoptive families for the cats, leads to many wonderful pets having to be euthanized. Abandoned cats fend for themselves and breed in the wild, forming colonies of feral cats. Feral cats have such a difficult existence that they typically only live an average of two years, whereas domestic cats can live an average of twelve years with proper care. Organizations exist that can catch and tame feral kittens, and then place them in a home, but adult ferals can rarely be socialized to trust humans. Meanwhile, many prospective cat owners choose to purchase a kitten from a pet store or breeder, and may not know that even purebred cats and kittens are often available for adoption.

Once someone is ready for the responsibility of caring for a cat, adoption can be an incredibly rewarding decision. Adoption benefits cats, owners, and society alike. Adopting a cat is typically much less expensive than purchasing one. Shelters often have a wide selection of very sweet, friendly cats and kittens, including purebreds. Adoptive owners enjoy bonding with their pets, and have the extra satisfaction of knowing they have rescued a wonderful companion from a hard existence. Every cat adopted means one less cat has to be euthanized. Every kitten purchased new results in one less opportunity for adoption to take place. If you are ready for a pet cat, please consider adoption!

lnteresting Cat Trivia Low-Cost Wisconsin Spay & Neuter Clinics
All domestic cats are descended from African wild cats. The cats in the Broadway show, Cats, were inspired by feral cats in London made famous as T.S. Eliot's Jellicle Cats. Cats were incredibly popular in ancient Rome; Rome may have been spared from plague outbreaks due to its huge population of feral cats keeping the rat population under control. Today, Rome has the largest number of feral cats of any city in the worldabout 300,000 felines!
