Rescue Me ID: 14-12-19-00130Winter (female)

Russian Blue    Age: Young Kitten

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Winter (DOB 8/1/2014) has dark gray fur, a wonderful fluffy tail, and sharper facial features than her littermates and, therefore, she also gets called The Winter Fox, or Foxy Girl. She is a sweet-natured, snuggly and kissable girl who loves to dash about the house chasing her siblings, or can be seen trotting about carrying her favorite dental chew toy in her mouth. She has a softer meow than her sibs and will look intently at you while you speak and put in a meow or two herself. If you continue the conversation she starts purring and will come to you to be held. If she needs something she will give a meow or two. At mealtimes, her ... (Read More)siblings climb over and shove each other, scarf down their canned food, then switch food bowls, looking for more. Winter stands next to or behind me, gives a little meow and waits for me to fill her dish last, farther away from the others so she can eat her meal slowly, without intrusion. If they go after her food, she will back off and go to the dry food bowl. Winter grew up with an attentive, playful mother, siblings and caring humans. She is an adorable, affectionate little soul who likes to play with you and who will curl up in your lap or next to you on the couch or on the floor. She is a loving little companion.     Hello there! I am a Flame-point Siamese kitty with a wonderful Loving and Playful demeanor. Everyone who comes around me loves my temperament. I love to cuddle, play, and cuddle some more! My favorite place to sleep is next to you, or on your shoulder if possible! I haven't had my vaccinations yet, and I'm getting neutered tomorrow. (12-10-2014) I don't know what that means, but it doesn't sound like much fun. I like having fun! I love to chase fake mice, wads of paper, and the elusive little red dot! (I'm pretty good at catching that dot, but it always seems to disappear!) One of my favorite games is playing hand under the blanket with my ... (Read More)foster. She has a special facination with wanting to be outdoors, so we are looking for a home who will be diligent in keeping her inside. She likes people and will jump up to sit beside you.     We saved him at 5 weeks & he will be 2 in April. He is very affectionate & only slightly playful. He is great with children & all adults. No litter box or eating issues. If you talk to him he will meow back & comes when called. He was comfortable around dogs as a kitten but hasn't been exposed to them as an adult. We moved into a home with 2 cats who will not accept him & my son is heartbroken but we have to give him up. It isn't fair that he's confined to one room in the home.

Domestic Cat    Age: Young Kitten

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

This little guy showed up at my apartment and I, unfortunately, cannot keep him. He is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle. He likes to play and is good with my other cats. He's about 2 lbs and from what I can tell he is not neutered. His claws were cut when I found him so he has not really been scratching anything and responds well to spray bottles when being bad. He is a great little guy and anyone will be lucky to have him!

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

THIS DOLL IS STILL AVAILABLE!! Lexi needs a new furever home today. She is 6 years old. She is very sweet and loveable however she would be best in a home free of other cats or dogs as she is scared of them. She likes to talk, lay at the end of your bed, and enjoys a good chin scratch. Due to my own health issues, she needs to find another home ASAP or I will unfortunately have to surrender her to the humane society. I love her very much and hate to see her go. I just want someone to provide her a good loving home.

Bagheera was a rescue kitten from my job. I was able to get him to finally go into a crate to bring him home. It took him about a month to adapt to the other cat and the dogs. He prefers smaller dogs, as he was afraid of our Boxer. Typically he hides from children. When I had him neutered he received shots and is strictly an indoor cat. He has no interest to be outside. He currently wears a collar and loves it!! He's very curious and plays with anything that he can move. He is still a little jumpy but will come and sit on my lap to get love. I recently went through a separation and moved into a much smaller living space and would ... (Read More)like to find him a loving home. (Less)

Jude is a fantastic cat. He is so tolerant of our small children, but they stress him and he then goes in places other than the little box. We love him so much, but he would be happier in a home without small children. Older children who understand when to leave him alone or a home with no kids is best.

Baby is a Seal Point Siamese female. She is front declawed and she has had all of her teeth removed due to dental disease. Siamese have very poor teeth, so it is necessary that they get their teeth checked out by a Veterinarian every year. She eats dry food and canned food, just make sure the dry kibble is small.     Bogey is the original 'meet and greet' cat and will always be where the action is. Gives lots of affection. Good companion cat. Very active for his age. Raised with two other cats but has never seen a dog. Probably would be friendly if the dog is friendly. He has had free access to outside thru a cat door but into an enclosed yard. I am moving and cannot take him. Sad. He will be missed.

Persian    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Angelo is a Silver Chinchilla Persian mix. What the other mix is we do not know, but his Persian ancestry makes him a very sweet boy. He will be your best buddy, walking beside you eager to be petted. We wish we could say that he likes to be brushed, but he doesn't like it, he tolerates it, so start out slowly combing around the head using short soft motions and slowly work your way down the back over several days. He was never used to grooming but we think he'd enjoy it if it were done slowly. He is a snoop, and he likes to see what is inside of closed closets and cupboards. He doesn't bother anything, he just wants to 'see'. He has good ... (Read More)litter box habits, and he has good manners. He never gets on counters or tables. He is presently living with other cats, and he is increasingly becoming more and more stressed out, so we think that he may enjoy a home by himself or with Josie, he came in with Josie, so if you want two cats they'd be a purrfect pair. Persian    Age: Senior

Sweetums is the name her owner gave her. She is a black Persian mix, she is spayed and front declawed. She was turned into Animal Control and told that she didn't use the litterbox and that she could hardly walk. She has been was vetted, and surprisingly she is in very good health for her age. She does have arthritis in her back knees and is being given Buprenorphine for the discomfort. She weighs 7.5 lbs, has long fur. Sweetums has not once missed using her litter box since we've had her. The only drawback - she is extremely cat aggressive. She is isolated in a large laundry room. Because of that she is becoming very depressed. She is ... She would be much happier as an only cat for someone who'd love to groom her and give her the attention she craves. Sweetums will head butt and rub against you to get you to pet her. We are hoping someone out there would like to welcome her into their home for however long she may have. At this stage, she may be around for several years. NO DOGS and NO YOUNG CHILDREN. Bengal    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

F3 Snow Bengal cat in need of immediate re-homing. She must go to a home with owners who are experienced in EG Bengals. She's three years old, has marvelous rosettes, is very sweet and playful, spayed, litter box trained, and front claws are removed. I'm not sure when her claws were taken out, as she was handed to me long after the procedure. No papers are available because shehas exchanged so many hands in a short amount of time. This will be her fifth home (that I know of). Her previous owner surrended her to me because she was moving and did not have the space. Before that, she was at the humane society. The reason I am having to put the ... (Read More)poor baby through this again is she does not do well with high-energy dogs, or elderly cats. She has been trying to kill my 13 year old bengal, and isolating her in order to reintroduce them does not work. Because of the territory issues, she will urinate on all furniture, carpeting, and bedding. She will even use the floor right next to her litter box, instead of the box itself. This is causing a lot of tension in my marriage, and sacrifices unfortunately have to be made. She does well around other playful cats and kittens, and can co-exist with calm dogs. No young children. She requires a very specific home. Though she is friendly, she is not a lap cat. She can be a bit skiddish, and prefers to be on high places. She loves the 7.5 ft cat condo we bought for her. She also adores catnip and toys that make noises. I have only had her for about a month and a half, so I do not have any shot records. The previous owner told me everything was up to date and tested negative for FeLV. If you are interested, please send me a private message. Serious inquiries only. Make sure you have read everything I have provided. I will not budge on any of my conditions. If interested, contact me at 6234194412 (Less)

Formally Kit Kat Rescue, we are now R.A.I.N. Rescue (Rescuing Animals in Need). We try to remove each cat, kitty, dog and puppy as soon as they are adopted. CAN YOU HELP US???? R.A.I.N. Rescue is desperately seeking foster homes for SMALL dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. We currently need volunteers for these Departments: Foster Homes, Transporters, Groomer, Adoption Center, Donation Station and Fund-raisers. FOSTERING: We take in 'small' dogs, puppies, cats and kittens to foster. The fosters DO NOT pay out of pocket for expenses while fostering ANY animals in our Rescue. This is a common misconception. The Rescue pays for everything necessary. We also accommodate for time away*. *Some of our best fosters have been the winter visitors, who may only be able to take in dogs for 3-4 months. TRANSPORTERS: A person designated to take the dogs and cats for their vetting, (spay/neuter etc), grooming and sometimes to pick up and drop off at adoption events when the fosters are unable to bring them. Transporters may also pick up new strays/owner surrenders etc. and taking them to their foster home. This position will pay mileage. FUND-RAISERS: Anything to help bring in funds to our non-profit Rescue. You will earn 10% of the money brought in to help the animals for each event! GROOMER: A skilled groomer with their own grooming equipment that can groom/bathe/clip nails on small dogs/puppies. We will supply the shampoo/towels etc. We would bring them to your location in the east valley. VOLUNTEERS AT ADOPTION CENTER: Cleaning cat kennels (inside help with cats and kittens weekday days and nights), cat laundry (pick up and drop off), play time with cats, feeding cats, walking dogs, cleaning dog kennels, watering, feeding, quiet petting time and play time with dogs. PHOTO POSTINGS: Cats and kittens that are adoption ready at the Petsmart Center, take photos of cats and kittens and get information on them, post on three of our favorite sites online. DONATION STATION: Someone to 'faithfully' be at Petsmart and set up the donation table (table provided), The table will have items on it with information about our rescue, our business cards, volunteer job listings, a donation jar, and a donation basket for anyone wanting to donate misc. items (dog food/toys etc) and small items that can be given out to those who donate. Flexible day(s) and time(s) can be discussed. *All these positions help the animals find forever homes. Please open your heart and possibly your home, costing you only 'time'. Nothing 'out of pocket''|.and all from your heart. Many Thanks!!!! If you are able to help out~ Please go to our website for a volunteer or foster application. www.azrain.org (Less)

She is shy and intimidated by other animals. Please give Lexi a fur-ever home today!!!

Domestic Cat    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Dude LeBowskitty & Punk E. Bruster are a bonded pair, who are looking for a new home. I have had each since they were adopted as kittens. Dude is 10 & Punk is 6. They are both with claws, neutered, current on shots (last update/round was in June, I will transfer vet records to your vet) and healthy. They are both indoor cats, though they would LOVE to have access to the outdoors to hunt and play or lay in the sun like the bums they are. :) They both play fetch, come when called and sit for treats which is quite fun. Both boys love to lay on my lap and purr, Punk prefers to be held like a baby & Dude prefers the lap. They have unique ... (Read More)personalities, neither one is a 'typical' cat. Neither cat goes potty outside their box unless it's in the yard, Punk likes to pee in the sandy spots in the corner of our yard... boys. lol They both use the cat scratching furniture to scratch in the appropriate places. Dude loves water, if you go to any sink he will be there to ask for water or if you take a bath he will happily sit on the ledge and hope to get his tail wet so that he can spin in circles chasing it to dry it off. Dude is quite the klutz, he often fails when he attempts to jump onto something and he manages to get hit by me on accident like when I'm brushing my hair (being too close or in the right place at the wrong time) at least once a week. lol He's immediately forgiving and eternally loving. Dude loves all dogs, so much so that he has no fear and simply wants to use the dog as a post to purr and rub against. He was amazing as a big brother when introducing Punk to him, in our home over 3-6 days of separation and taking things slowly. Punk is quite the lover, he was bottle fed as an abandoned baby so his level of affection is quite high. He gives kisses, and even gives 'more' kisses on command when you are holding him and he wants to be put down. Punk is the Punk of the two, chasing his brother and instigating play when he's in the mood. Punk accepts dogs, ones that could care less about him are the best. He will not work well with a dog that harasses the cats, nor do I want him in that type of environment. I am moving in with my fianc who has an allergy to cats, as well as a cat eating dog. I can not risk my boy's life nor put my future husband on drugs to keep his allergies at bay. It is a very, VERY hard situation to be in. I remind myself that I gave these boys an amazing life full of love and adventure up till this point so that makes it less horrible to let them go to a new family. I will be providing a tall cat tree, small scratch post, cube chair - take it or leave it, Dude likes to sleep on this and scratch it, feeding bowls, dry & canned food to get you by for at least 2 weeks, nail cutters, stainless steel water filtration bowl - the plug in type that filters the water with a small pump, and two Clever Cat litter boxes. I will also be willing to provide financial assistance for their wellbeing for at least 1 year so that I can keep in touch with their new family and assure they are loved and wanted. Again, these boys are my children and loved very much so I want what is best for them, hence keeping them together & providing financial assistance for their new owners. The adoption fee will be put towards their food/treats/litter supply. Please consider adopting these loving boys, before 11/14/2014 and help keep them from going to a shelter. They will be going to a shelter on the 14th if I can not find a new home. :( (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-21-00520Stormy (female)

American Shorthair Mix    Age: Kitten

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Stormy is a very sweet, quiet, playful companion. She was born in a neighbors back porch from a ferel cat that frequented her yard. She had a vet checkup and is very healthy and dewormed. She has excellent indoor manners-does not jump on tables or scratch furniture. Litterbox trained(no covered litterbox). She is a self proclaimed indoor only cat, she is uninterested in going outside if we are not out there with her and even then she will only venture a few feet from door. She has very soft short hair. Her markings are very pretty, she is cream colored under her chin and belly, with grey spotts on belly(except one curiously light brown ... (Read More)spot), she has black stripes on her arms legs and tail. Her overall color is beigy greyish, like stormclouds. Greenish/hazel eyes. She loves being around people, she is not the type to jump on a strangers lap to cuddle but she will come take a sniff and have a seat nearby to observe. She prefers to cuddle with only myself (mother of home) but often lays at feet of my sons and husband (when they stay put for longer than 5 minutes). She needs a loving home ASAP, my stepson is moving with us in a few weeks and he is very allergic to cats. We need to rehome her within a few days or we will have to take her to a shelter. She has been a wonderful companion, please consider welcoming her to your family/home. No re-homing fee. Her carrier, favorite toys, foodbowl, litterbox(clean/empty) come with her. (Less)
